March 25, 2020 NAPIM has been assembling information from the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Cyber Infrastructure Security Administration (CISA) and updating/adapting it for use by our industries. You’ll note in the (CISA) link below that Food/Agriculture and Chemical industries are designated as Critical Infrastructure industries (NAPIM members and suppliers would be covered here): CISA Critical Infrasture Guidance
Accordingly, the attached documents can be used to inform state regulators and government officials that printing ink and its supply chain are covered under these categories. NAPIM has been sending this information to the offices of the President, Vice President, members of the Senate on the Joint Committee on Printing, the governors for the states of Illinois and South Carolina (states where John Copeland and I reside) and other government leaders. It would be helpful if your companies would use these documents (edited to reflect your information) to governors, congress members and senators in your respective states. Please contact me of John Copeland with questions or comments.
